if you keep looking, it never stops: abundance in deeply frozen minnesota mornings

I've decided to dedicate this week to noticing abundance and then sharing it with you. This morning it is -46 degrees f. But I woke up in a warm bed in a warm house and now I sit here with a soft blanket wrapped around my legs, my cat's warm body resting at my feet, and a frothy latte in front of me. These are things worth being thankful for.

That is a great reminder. I am also thankful for those wonderful cozy moments. I will also try to take note of these as you wrote! ....and the coffee...you are so funny about the coffee, my sister is like that. It looks good. I think I need one right now! I want to read more of your blog. The lists look very interesting. I have not written out my lists from the book but I may try to do the one's in the next chapter this weekend. Perhaps I need some stonger coffee....lol....

Cozy is immensely cozier when the condition outside is so foreboding. I lived in Alberta during most of my childhood, and in Minnesota (just south of the Twin Cities) for a year after we were married. I can attest to the extreme conditions, and know how lovely the warmth is in its embrace.

I have been reading my email and comments before doing my morning pages because if I don't I am sort of thinking about them. Sometimes, like today, I get lost in links and won't end up writing until later. Thanks to your comments I feel so supported and loved. Like a friend came over and gave me a hug. It feels wonderful. If I was drinking that latte across from you it would be even better! Thank you; you brought abundance into my life today!

46 degrees BELOW zero??? You mean that is actually possible??? That's just a little too much freakin' abundance! It's about 80 degrees warmer than that here, and I'm still freezing. But that coffee looks good...gonna have to go to Starbucks, now!

Keep warm!

Wow...do you go outside at negative 46? I mean really?? Outside? I am a midwesterner by blood so I should know this but I am pretty sure in Indiana we stayed inside when it got like this...
